NO KID HUNGRY
I'm sure you've heard it before...“Clean your plate! There are starving kids in Africa.” At a young age, we learned to feel guilty for wasting food while other people don’t have any. Did you know the amount of food waste that is produced globally each year is more than enough to feed the nearly 1 billion hungry people in the world.
Did you know that 21.6% of children in America have access to uncertain food? Meaning that these children go home everyday not knowing if they will have a meal to fill their stomachs.
Hunger prevents kids from reaching their full potential. It’s an epidemic that’s threatening America’s future.
Childhood hunger is a major problem in our country - but it’s solvable. Help us end child hunger in America.
